Refund and Cancellation Policy

Before a project has been agreed

Submitting a request form doesn't cost anything and isn't binding. You can walk away at any point before a scope and final price have been agreed, at no cost.

After a project has been agreed, before delivery

If you've paid a deposit or the full price and want to cancel before the work is delivered, tell me as soon as possible. You'll be refunded for any part of the work not yet started, and charged a fair, proportionate amount for work already completed.

That proportionate amount is calculated from the hours I've actually put in up to that point, valued at my standard hourly rate for the type of work agreed, and I'll send you an itemized breakdown of what was done so you can see exactly how it was worked out.

If you're an individual client within the 14-day withdrawal window described in the Terms of Service, the same proportionate approach applies: you're only charged for what's actually been done by the time you withdraw, not the full price.

After delivery is confirmed

Once you've confirmed delivery in the order status area of the contact form, the project is considered complete and fully delivered, and isn't eligible for a refund, since the service has been fully performed. If something is genuinely broken or doesn't match what was agreed, contact me directly rather than requesting a refund. That's fixed as part of the original project.

Cancelling a managed plan

You can cancel a recurring managed plan at any time for future billing periods. The current paid period isn't refunded partway through, but the site stays live and managed until that period ends.

How to request a cancellation or refund

Email contact@shadowghost.eu or send a message through the order status area of the contact form. Agreed refunds are returned to your original Revolut payment method, normally within 14 days of us agreeing on the refund.
